Fire pits burn wood, making them less expensive to use. And, with a fire pit, you can control how small or large you would like the fire to be by the amount of wood you add to the fire. Fire pits also double as a bar-b-que when used with a cooking grill and charcoal. When using a fire pit, do so on a hard, flat surface, safely away from any brush or over-hanging tree limbs, and always have an available source of water to put out any sparks that may escape from the fire.
