Fertilize monthly spring through fall with a balanced liquid fertilizer at the recommended rate. Good drainage is key with hoyas; they dislike being soggy. Hoyas enjoy being slightly root-bound, so they can stay in the same pot for years. Many will eventually flower when the plant reaches maturity.
