Spider Plants

Chlorophytum comosum Spider Plant
Spider plants are a tough, easy-care favorite among house plants. These plants are very forgiving and require minimal care. They are favored for the small flowers that turn into small "spiderette" offshoots.
Bright, indirect light
Water thoroughly, but allow top 2 inches of soil to dry out before watering again.
Prefers 55°-80°F
Fertilize monthly during the spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertilizer at the recommended rate. Spider plants prefer a crowded root ball, so re-pot only when necessary. Brown tips on the foliage is very common, and not necessarily a sign of any problem. It can be caused by a buildup of salts in the soil from tap water. Watering with distilled or rain water may help.
