Air plants, or tillandsia, are a favorite at Urban Garden for their versatility and easy care. The xerographica are unique specimens because of their thick, whorled, gray-green leaves and often large size. The xerographica generally need much less water than most air plants.

Remove the plant from its container and water under the faucet every 14 days. Allow to dry completely, upside down, before placing it back in its container. |

No soil is needed: these plants receive their moisture and nutrients through their foliage. Watering this variety of air plant too much may cause it to rot from the inside out. |
